"I initially had to convince my husband that we should hire a day-of coordinator. Now that our wedding has passed, I’m sure he wouldn’t give it a second thought, because hiring AMAVI Wedding Events & Coordination was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process.

We went with the wedding day package, which consisted of two consultations plus a venue walk-through, a wedding day timeline, and oversight of our ceremony and reception (including decorating, set-up, and break-down for the ceremony and reception). Although Hannah was our actual coordinator on the day of, Brooke was also involved throughout the process and was present during the first two consultations, so it was almost like we got two coordinators for the price of one.

Honestly though, I don’t know what I would have done without Hannah. On the morning of the wedding, shortly after my family, bridal party, and I arrived at the venue, the makeup artist I had hired—who was also roughly 7 months pregnant—had a medical emergency, and I had to call 911 so she could be taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the makeup artist and her baby are both OK, but understandably this created a bit of crisis on the wedding day. Not only did Hannah help keep everyone calm, but her and Brooke also tried their hardest to find me a replacement makeup artist. When our hair stylist ended up expertly pulling off everyone’s makeup, Hannah even stepped in and applied the false eyelashes for myself, my mom, and my two maids of honor—all while pouring me mimosas and keeping everyone's energy as upbeat as possible given the circumstances.

In between this, Hannah also managed to beautifully decorate the ceremony and reception spaces and help direct all the other vendors, letting them know where to go and what needed to be done. She was there taking down and packing our decorations well after the reception ended, too, and I can’t even imagine how long of a day she had—especially considering she was already at the venue when I arrived early in the morning on the wedding day.

All in all, she went so far above and beyond the call of duty, and if this isn’t a lesson to hire a day-of coordinator, I don’t know what is. Hire AMAVI and work with Hannah or Brooke—it’ll be one of the best choices you can make for yourself while wedding planning.

I found Brooke through the knot.com! I was feeling extremely stressed and in over my head planning a wedding! Everyone told me that it should be a fun time to plan a wedding and as soon as I met Brooke, it was!! I had all these ideas in my head and Brooke helped me execute them. She gave me amazing advice and was realistic about what would work and what wouldn't. About two weeks prior to my wedding, Brooke wanted to have our final meeting and she had the great idea to do it at our venue to ease my nerves. Little did we know, the ceremony site had completely changed(so stressful!!)! In an hour meeting, she was able to re-work our plans to fit the new ceremony site!

On our wedding day, I enjoyed my morning getting ready because she was at the venue making sure everything was going smoothly. It was on-and-off raining throughout the day and Brooke kept an eye on the weather and expressed my decisions to the venue so that I could focus on my first look with my groom! The day goes by so quickly and there are always going to be things that don't go as planned. Brooke handled these things gracefully and without us knowing so that we fully could enjoy ourselves. Overall, if you want to enjoy your day and have fun, have someone who is always looking out for you on the biggest day of your life, and also meet a new friend then hire her!! She is amazing! I will be forever thankful!

I had done most of my planning by the time I came to Brooke, and needed help bringing it all together the day of. She was more then my planner she has become a friend. Brooke worked with me the month of  our wedding to finalize timelines, confirm vendors, and of course bring it all together the day of the event. We could not be happier with the job she did in helping us create a timeline that we felt good about. Making sure everything went on time the day of our wedding. Making sure my DJ had all the correct music, making sure everything was in one area to collect the next day. Thank you for everything!


 We hired AMAVI as our day of wedding coordinators and were very impressed with Brooke and Hannah’s levels of accommodation, attention to detail, hustle and care.  Brooke from AMAVI was faced with a host of challenges in coordinating our wedding day and handled all of them like the true professional that she is.  I was a very last minute yet particular bride who had tons of DIY projects slated for execution on the big day.  Brooke met with me on multiple occasions in the months leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond in discussing each detail of my day and taking notes to ensure she was as prepared as possible.  On the day of the rehearsal she was very patient in coordinating all 25 adults and 5 children in our large wedding party; providing us with valuable direction on anything from where to stand, when to walk down the aisle, and what would sound/look best on our day (which was no easy task).  On the day of the wedding, both Brooke and Hannah were responsible for picking up my flowers from Weavers and delivering them to our venue first thing in the morning.  I trusted them completely with this task (despite how nervous I was not seeing the flowers before the ceremony and not seeing them incorporated into the décor) and I did not regret it.  They followed my instructions perfectly; from setting up centerpieces, flowers, tablescapes and more – they made sure everything was as we discussed.  In fact, a few things didn’t turn out how I had planned them in my head and Brooke used her eye for design and it turned out even BETTER than I envisioned.  All the while, this was done in conjunction with coordination with the caterers, the baker, bus drivers, officiant, photobooth company, rental company and DJs prior to the ceremony start.  Once the ceremony began all the way through clean-up, Brooke and Hannah made sure everything ran smoothly and in accordance with our pre-discussed timeline.  She worked with vendors throughout the evening to address various problems such as the caterer running out of food, issues with lighting in the tent, etc. (none of which were the fault of AMAVI).  Hiring AMAVI took so much stress out of our day and I could not have ever pulled it off without their help.  I can say that we trusted AMAVI with a huge task, and they shined in accomplishing it.  I would highly recommend AMAVI to anyone looking for a wedding day coordinator.

This past weekend we celebrated my daughter’s wedding. A small affair (I was told) that quickly blossomed into about 160 people at a winery for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing.

Brooke and her team met my daughter (and us) on multiple occasions to work out details for flowers, food, the venue, soloist for the ceremony, DJ, the wine list and more.

I couldn’t believe the number of details involved in making the wedding a success.

On Saturday, Brooke and her team took over and helped to make my daughter’s special day truly special; and pretty much stress and worry free. I think the fact that we could relax and enjoy the wedding was what I was most thankful for.
